1. Information we collect

The SpaceCab website collects information you provide through the contact and booking forms, including your name, email address, phone number, journey details, requested date and time, and any additional information you choose to provide.

If you use the live chat provided by tawk.to, the messages and contact details you enter, as well as technical information needed to operate the service (such as browser information), may also be processed.

The website may also collect technical information about its use, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and traffic sources, to improve the service and assess website performance.

2. How we use it

We use this information to handle booking requests, respond to contact enquiries through forms, chat or other channels, provide relevant information and manage customer relationships. Audience data is used to improve the website only if you consent to analytics.

Processing is based on fulfilling a booking or responding to a prior request, SpaceCab's legitimate interest in managing and improving its services, and, where applicable, your consent.

The live chat is provided by tawk.to and loads automatically so the feature is available. If you use it, your messages and technical data needed to operate the chat are sent to this provider and processed under its privacy policy. Avoid sending sensitive information through the chat.

When you enter an address in the booking form, your pickup and destination addresses are sent to the configured search and routing services (Google Maps when enabled, otherwise Photon and OSRM) to suggest addresses and estimate the journey. The route map is also loaded from Google Maps. These providers may receive technical data such as your IP address and apply their own privacy policies.

If you select "Use my location" in the booking form and allow access to your location, your device coordinates are sent to Photon to find a nearby pickup address. This is optional; you can enter or edit the address yourself.

5. Data retention

Information is kept for as long as needed to manage your request and, where applicable, for the period required by relevant regulations or accounting and contractual obligations.

6. Your rights

7. Cookies and analytics

Trackers needed for the tawk.to chat are enabled automatically with that feature. Google Analytics and its audience-measurement cookies load only after you consent through the banner. You can reject analytics and still use the chat.

SpaceCab takes reasonable measures to protect personal information processed through the website, in line with applicable security practices.

9. Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, its services or legal obligations. Significant changes will be announced on the website or through the available contact channels.
